This is a beautiful and perfect summation of some of the things I love about Harry Potter and a beautiful explanation of the core of the emotional plurality of the characters. It's also a great counterargument to what frustrates me most about fans who have flamewars about whether character X was "good" or "bad" etc. And there's one person I know who just cannot and will not grasp the idea of Harry having compassion and understanding for these flawed people and letting imperfect relationships exist without passing judgement on them, when that very trait is so central to his character and the series as a whole. Thanks for writing this so much! Definitely going into memories :)
